CORE FEATURES & BENEFITS
SAFE, STABLE & COMPACT for HOME GYM USE: Constructed with 2"x2" steel, the 6-post full rack design is safer than a common half rack. 5 mm-thick back plates and thickened gusset plates increase the frame’s weight and stability, reducing wobble during use. The spacious interior allows multiple users to train simultaneously. Its compact footprint takes up less space, making it suitable for home gyms of all sizes.
ALUMINUM PULLEYS WITH 1:1 RATIO: Equipped with all-aluminum pulleys, the X6 Power Rack ensures ultra-smooth performance for every home strength workout. 1:1 pulley ratio ensures precise resistance transfer: the weight you load almost equals the resistance you feel, which highly improves your plate efficiency and allows you to build muscle more accurately.
INDEPENDENT DUAL CABLE SYSTEM: Compared to traditional free-weight racks, a cable-based power rack allows for more targeted muscle training, supporting both isolation and functional exercises. It maintains constant muscle tension throughout the entire range of motion, provides more even resistance, and is safer to use. Dual cable system is equipped with independent weight stacks each side, eliminating the need for frequent weight changes in daily training, and also allowing for partner workouts.
INNOVATIVE EXTERNAL CABLE ROUTING: X6 features an innovative external cable routing, allowing accessories such as safety bars to operate independently with cables. You don’t need to disassemble or adjust the accessories between different exercises during your workout. This design also enables multiple users to perform weightlifting and resistance exercises simultaneously without interfering with each other.
FREE ACCESSORIES FOR VERSATILITY

It is ideal for landmine presses, landmine rows, Russian twists, single-arm bent-over rows, and many other movements. By allowing a greater and more natural range of motion, it helps improve core rotational stability, strength transfer, and peak explosive power while maintaining a safer, more controlled training path.
FOOTPLATE: The footplate provides a stable and secure base for your feet during cable exercises. It allows you to perform movements such as seated rows and other lower-body or core exercises with proper form and balance, enhancing stability, control, and overall effectiveness of your workouts.
BAND PEGS: Integrate resistance bands into your lifts for greater tension and control. Use them with major compound exercises like squats, bench presses, and deadlifts to challenge strength through the entire range of motion, or apply them separately for warm-ups, flexibility, and rehabilitation training.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why Do Weight Plates Have Metal Inserts?
Weight plates have metal inserts at the center to allow them to slide smoothly onto the barbell, reduce friction and wear on both the plates and the bar, and ensure a secure, stable fit during lifting. The metal insert also helps protect the bar and plates from damage and makes loading and unloading easier, while maintaining consistent performance and safety during exercises.
Why Are Olympic Weight Plates Color Coated?
The simple answer for why weight plates have very distinct color coding is easy identification. It helps referees and the audience quickly recognize the weight loaded on the Olympic bar during competitions. For home use, it also allows fitness enthusiasts to select and use the right plates more efficiently.
The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) sets the specifications and rules for the equipment used in all Olympic weightlifting competition. The International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) requires a similar color code. The standard weight plates and their corresponding colors are as follows:
Red = 25 kg (55.1 lbs)
Blue = 20 kg (44 lbs)
Yellow = 15 kg (33 lbs)
Green = 10 kg (22 lbs)
White = 5 kg (11 lbs)
Red = 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs)
Blue = 2 kg (4.4 lbs)
Yellow = 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs)
Green = 1 kg (2.2 lbs)
White = 0.5 kg (1.1 lbs)
What are Change Plates and Fractional Plates Used for?
Change plates and fractional plates are lightweight plates to add to your barbell for tiny jumps. Change plates range from 1.1lbs (0.5kg) to 11lbs (5kg), while fractional plates range from 0.25lbs to 2.2lbs (1kg). For bigger, compound lifts like deadlift, the smaller Fractional Plates may not always be useful, but the ability to make a wee jump on upper body lifts - like bench press, barbell curls, power cleans, or overhead press -- can make a huge difference. You can break a new PR by gradually adding incremental weight to the barbell with these small weight plates.
How to Choose a Proper Home Gym Floor?
Choosing a gym flooring depends on multiple factors, like budget, workout types, available space, equipment and etc. Foam flooring and rubber gym flooring each have its own pros and cons:
1.If you are new to fitness and just start to develop a training routine, then soft, lightweight, affordable foam mats will suit you fine.
2.If you have already started high-intensity training and use heavy equipment, investing rubber floor mats for home gym is definitely worth it.
3.If you want to create an all-in-one multifunctional workout space which adapts to both exercises and equipment training, we highly recommend GXMMAT exercise mat.
Compared to ordinary foam mats, it improves hardness and tear resistance by using high density material and 3-in-1 compression technology, which can absorb the impact of heavy equipment. And it is budget-friendly, can be used as a versatile gym flooring in daily home fitness.
What Should I Consider When Building a Garage Gym?
Before you build a garage gym, a proper space planning is essential. First, accurately measure the garage dimensions to ensure your equipment and layout will fit perfectly. Then divide the space into 3 different functional zones: equipment zone, free training zone, storage zone.
Then you should select a qualified garage gym flooring, which is non-slip, shock-absorbent, and can reduce noise and protect your floor and gear at the same time, that will create a comfortable and safe environment for your following workouts. Once the gym floor is installed, you can select and arrange your equipment without any worries.
Besides, two of the biggest concerns most people often face are temperature control and noise management. To handle basic insulation and soundproofing problems, you should start by sealing gaps, then add insulation materials to maintain temperature. For noise control, consider installing acoustic panels and shock-absorbing gym mats for garage.
Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 145 reviews.
So far, the X6 has been a really useful addition to my garage gym. I originally bought it mainly for squats and bench work, but I've ended up using the cable system much more than I expected. The different attachments make it easy to change up my workouts, and everything feels pretty solid when I'm using heavier weights. I also appreciate the overall design-there's a lot packed into one rack without it feeling overly complicated. It took some patience to get everything assembled, but once it was done, I haven't had any major complaints. Definitely more versatile than a basic power rack.
I was a little surprised by how quickly the X6 arrived. It came in three separate boxes, and everything was packed well when I opened them.
Once it was assembled, I was impressed with how solid the whole setup feels. The pulley system is smooth, and I really like the aluminum pulleys. Having the cables run independently without crossing is a nice detail that makes the setup feel much cleaner.
There are also a lot of attachments included, which gives me plenty of options for different workouts. I'd probably add some protection to the safety bars in a future version, but overall I'm very happy with the X6 so far.
The best part of the X6 for me is how much I can do with it without needing a bunch of separate machines. Squats, rows, pulldowns, cable work, and a lot of other movements are all covered.
Shipping was also faster than I expected. It came in three boxes, and everything arrived in good shape. Assembly took me a few hours, so definitely set aside some time for that, but the instructions made the process pretty easy to follow.
After using it, the rack feels very solid and doesn't move around much. I did have a small issue during setup, but customer service got back to me quickly and helped me get it sorted out. Overall, it's been a great addition to my home gym.
I've had the X6 for a little while now and overall I'm really happy with it. Mine arrived in three separate boxes, but everything showed up pretty quickly. The instructions were clear enough to follow, although the assembly definitely took longer than I expected. Once it was together, it feels very solid and stable. I also really like the aluminum pulleys and that the cables don't cross over each other. There are a lot of attachments included too, so I've been able to do way more exercises than I expected from one rack.
I'm giving the X6 4 stars because I had a small issue with one of the components during assembly. It wasn't fitting quite right, so I contacted customer service. They responded quickly and helped me get the replacement part sorted out, so the issue was resolved without much hassle. Once everything was put together, the rack felt very solid and stable, and the pulley system has been working smoothly. Overall, I'm happy with the X6 and especially appreciated the quick customer support.
I have cleaned up my basement and decided to turn the space into a simple home gym. Since my basement is not very large, I didn't want to fill it with multiple machines that would take up too much room. I was looking for something versatile so that I could handle as many exercises as possible in one setup, and this power rack was exactly what I needed.
The biggest advantage for me is saving space while still having everything I need for strength training. Instead of buying several different pieces of equipment, I can do almost my entire workout routine with this one rack, like train squats, bench press, pull-ups, cable exercises, rows, and many other movements. The cable system is smooth, the rack feels stable, and it makes my basement workout space feel like a complete gym.
This rack has been a great addition to my home workout setup. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were clear and all parts arrived well packaged. I really like the cable crossover, pull-up bar, and the extra storage options. The movement feels smooth, and the rack doesn't take up much space. A few small improvements could make it perfect, but overall I'm very happy with the purchase.
Been using this rack for about 3 weeks now. I originally bought it mainly for squats and bench, but the cable system ended up being my favorite feature.
The pulley runs surprisingly smooth for this price range. I've been doing lat pulldowns and low rows almost every workout, and it feels consistent with no sticking.
The rack itself is very stable. I've gone fairly heavy on squats and didn't notice any wobble or shifting, which was something I was worried about before buying.
It feels like a really solid upgrade for a home gym. No regrets at all.
Was honestly on the fence before buying this, but it turned out way better than I expected.
I used to go to a commercial gym, so I wasn't sure if a home setup would feel "good enough." After a couple weeks with this rack, I barely miss the gym anymore. I can hit all my main lifts, and the cable system covers most of the accessory work I used to do on separate machines.
It's not perfect - putting it together was a bit of a project and took me almost half a day - but once it's set up, it just works. Feels sturdy, cables are smooth, and everything does what it's supposed to.
Biggest win for me is convenience. No waiting, no commute, just get the workout done. Definitely worth it.
After comparing multiple racks from different brands, I chose this one. I'm glad I did. The steel construction feels durable. The overall design is well thought out.
One thing I really appreciate is the pulley ratio. The 1:1 system delivers direct resistance. It is ideal for strength training and heavier lifts. It gives a more solid and powerful feel during workouts.
Another big plus is the included attachments. The rack comes with a wide range of accessories. These allow many different exercises.
Overall, this rack offers features found in more expensive setups. Great value for money.
I've been using this cable rack for about a month now and it completely replaced multiple machines in my garage gym. The pulley system is smooth and quiet, especially great for lat pulldowns and chest flyes. Assembly took a few hours, but everything feels solid once set up. Definitely worth it if you want a compact all-in-one station.
I've been training consistently for years, and I needed something that could handle heavier lifts without compromising safety. This rack delivers.
The package arrived in three separate boxes. Everything was well packed and protected. No missing parts, no damage during shipping. That already gave me a good first impression.
Assembly took a few hours. I recommend having a second person to help, especially when setting up the frame. The instructions were clear. Once fully assembled, the rack felt extremely solid and secure.
I regularly squat and bench with relatively heavy weight, and the frame stays stable throughout. No wobbling, no concerns. The safety bars are strong and easy to adjust, which adds a lot of confidence when training alone.
The cable system adds a lot of value for accessory work. The movement feels smooth and consistent. It works well for exercises like lat pulldowns, rows, and tricep pushdowns. It's not just an add-on—it's actually usable for serious training.
After a couple of months of use, everything still feels tight and durable. Nothing has loosened over time. This setup feels very close to a commercial gym experience at home.
The rack is very sturdy and handles heavy lifts without issues. Cable exercises are smooth, and the included accessories make it easy to switch between workouts. One thing to consider is the size. It takes up a decent amount of space, so make sure you measure your area first. Other than that, very satisfied.
I did a lot of research and obtained advice from friends and colleagues who are power lifters before deciding to go with this power cage. I set it up by myself in about 4 hours, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The unit is very sturdy and there is no wobble when using any aspect of the rack. The pulleys operate smoothly. When I unpackaged the parts, I thought I was missing part AB. Customer service responded promptly and let me know the 2 AB parts are tie-strapped to the main frame rather than in the box they were listed as part of. A handle was missing from one of the accessories, the vendor shipped it to me immediately. Overall, I am extremely happy with the quality of the equipment, as well as with the responsiveness of the seller.
Let me start by saying that my prior equipment was a very basic smith machine with a bench press on rails, an upper and lower (plastic) pulley system, and a dip bar. Overall, it did what I wanted it to do and held up for 20+ years. I recently moved and wanted to start over with some new gear. With a do-over I decided I didn't need the bench press part of the smith machine, so I focused on power cages. While I would've liked to get a higher end model, it wasn't really in the budget and I reminded myself that my basic/cheap system lasted me 20+ years with frequent use. So just about anything that's available today is still an upgrade for me.
At $700 it falls in line with most of what you'll find in the home use/budget category. A definite factor for me in making this choice was the aluminum pulley system and I liked the 1:1 ratio so that I wouldn't have to buy more weights unless I wanted them (Note - I did buy more weights but only because this system offers so many options that it makes it easier to take advantage of them by having more weight combinations available). It came with the features that I knew I wanted to have and the few things it might be missing compared to others don't matter to me. Do I need aluminum pulleys? Probably not but if I ever decided that I wanted to upgrade the pulleys on another machine like the Major Fitness F22 (which was on my short list and comparably priced to the GXMMAT) then that would cost another $150 or more later. So it just made sense to me to take the upgrade now on one of the parts of the power cage that will get used a lot.
So that's why I picked it. Here is what I think of it.
I like it overall. It's a sturdy system with the features that mattered to me. The accessories are about what you'd expect….they'll probably last a long time with average use, but better options are out there for those that want to upgrade. I lift about 3 days/week and I'm thinking that this system will outlast my need for it. It doesn't have a huge footprint and should fit fine in most spaces.
Unfortunately, there was a quality issue with my system. There were 2 instances of cracked plastic 'gaskets' (I don't know what to call it) on a pulley adjustment (the part that moves the pulleys up and down the front rails) and a lifting pipe (the part where you load the weights and glides up and down the chrome rail in the back). In addition, one of the rubber grips on the pull up bar had a tear in it. See attached pictures. My cheap prior smith machine used similar 'gaskets' and they held up over time, so I wasn't too worried about having the same thing when I picked this GXMMAT system. However, I was worried about the lifespan of these critical parts if they are compromised from the start. I contacted GXMMAT customer service and they were quick to respond and resolve both issues to my satisfaction by sending replacement parts. I don't like the idea of having to partially dismantle the power cage to replace any broken parts should they be needed later, but I'm glad that GXMMAT was willing to provide them to me if they end up being necessary.
Pros:
Aluminum pulleys, very smooth and quiet
1:1 ratio
Relatively small footprint for what you get from it
Decent quality accessories
Good customer service
Cons:
Doesn't include weight storage (doesn't matter to me)
May not include all attachments that some people might want (safety arms, V push down bar)
I would've preferred knurling on the pull-up bar
Potential for broken parts
Summary:
I don't post a lot of reviews. I'm happy with the purchase and hopefully adding one more review will help others with their decision-making process. I'm giving it 4.5 stars but rounding up to 5 based on how much I like the power cage and their customer service wanting to make things right. It's a sturdy, solid system that provides a lot of features at this $700 price point.
Arrived in three separate boxes. I was worried it'd be one huge package, but bringing everything into the garage piece by piece was manageable. Everything was packed well and nothing was damaged. Putting it together took a bit of time, but nothing too complicated. The aluminum pulleys were a nice surprise. They feel smooth right away and don't have that cheap, grinding feeling some cable systems do.
I've been using it mostly for squats, and it just feels solid. No shaking or weird movement. Overall, it just feels like a reliable setup that fits perfectly into my daily routine at home.
Really happy with this power rack! It's super versatile. The extra long and short bars really add a lot more exercise options to my workouts.One thing to note is that you really need to plan the placement before buying and assembling it, because it's very heavy. Once it's fully built, it can't be moved easily. My 12-year-old son and I both use it now. No more waiting in line for equipment.
Really happy with this purchase so far. From the moment I finished assembling it, I could tell the frame was solid and well-built. The steel feels durable, and everything locks into place nicely. During workouts, I haven't noticed any wobbling or instability, even when pushing a bit heavier weight.
I mainly use it for bench press, rows, and lat pulldowns, and it handles all of them really well. The cable system runs smoothly without sticking, which makes a big difference for consistency. It's also comes with multiple accessories so you can have many exercise options in one setup without needing other machines.
One thing to keep in mind is the weight. Once it's fully assembled, it's very heavy and not easy to move at all. I had to slightly reposition mine after building it, and it was definitely a struggle. I'd recommend planning your space carefully and assembling it exactly where you intend to use it.
Aside from that, it's been a great addition to my garage gym. It saves me time from going to the gym and gives me a reliable setup at home. Overall, I think it's a solid choice for anyone looking to build a versatile and stable home workout station.
This rack exceeded my expectations. I've trained in commercial gyms for years, and this setup honestly holds up pretty well compared to some of the equipment I've used. The pulley ratio feels balanced, and movements are smooth without any jerking. I like that I can switch between exercises quickly, squats, cable crossovers, lat pulldowns, and more, all these can be done in one station. The overall build quality is solid. For a home gym setup, this is a fantastic all-in-one solution.
Overall, I've had a good experience with this rack. The build is solid and it works well for my regular workouts. I use it for a mix of lifts and cable exercises, and everything feels stable and smooth for the most part.
I did run into a small issue where one of the cables showed some wear after using it for a while. I reached out to customer service, and they responded quickly and sent a replacement. Really appreciate how easy they made the process. Because of that, I'd still recommend it. Good product backed by great support.
Great value for the price.
I spent quite a bit of time comparing different power racks from various brands before finally deciding on this one, and I'm really glad I did. The versatility is definitely the biggest highlight — it combines multiple training functions in one unit, so I can do squats, pull-ups, and cable exercises all in the same setup. It really helps save space while still giving me a full gym experience at home.
Assembly took some time and effort, but the instructions were straightforward enough to follow step by step. Once everything was put together, the rack felt very solid. The overall build quality feels professional, and it has completely upgraded my home workout routine.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to build a home gym on a budget but still wanting that commercial gym feel and functionality.
I've been using this power rack for a few weeks now and I'm honestly really impressed. The build quality feels very solid and stable, even when doing heavier squats or pull-ups. The frame doesn't shake much. I was worried about before buying but it turns out to be good. The cable system also runs smoothly and feels much better than I expected at this price point. Overall, it's been a great addition to my home gym and makes training at home much more convenient.
Got the X6 Power Rack last week and I'm really liking it so far. Setup was pretty easy and didn't take long. It feels solid and safe to use, and honestly makes my home workouts feel way better. It also takes up less space than my old Smith machine, which is a nice plus. Overall, I'm really happy with it!
I researched power cages for a while before going with the X6, and I'm glad I did. Customer service was responsive when I asked questions about it, which made me feel better about the purchase. It shipped in 3 boxes: 1 showed up earlier than the stated window, the next 2 arrived exactly on the day indicated. The boxes had the usual dings you expect for items weighing over 100 lbs, but the internal packaging was so well thought out that nothing was damaged.
The 1:1 pulley system is nice to set up different weights for different exercises. I lubed the beams themselves that house the weight carriages, and it's smooth and quiet. Something the seller should include in their product description: the weight carriages for the pulley come with Olympic weight holders for 2" plates, but they are removable to reveal carriages capable of holding standard 1" plates. This was a selling point for me because I already had a ton of standard plates. You remove the Olympic holders with an allen wrench (not included). I like the different grip positions of the pull-up bars. They are a little on the thinner side, as are the bar dip handles. So those with larger hands, or those preferring a larger grip size, will have to compromise in favor of the other options this cage provides.
The instructions were really clear -- I only watched the assembly video once or twice to verify. I like that it indicated all the pieces you would need per step. If I remember right, there are only 4 bolt sizes that are clearly labeled. All the washers and nuts are exactly the same for the entire setup. The nuts/bolts/washers are arranged on 2 sheets of paper covered in plastic, so I don't see how you could receive a shipment with missing hardware. They recommend 2 to 3 people putting this together, and I don't disagree that would make it easier. With some careful planning, I was able to safely assemble this myself in several hours. I built this using the sub-floor trick on top of a carpet. The whole machine base fits on a 4' by 6' horse stall mat, and plywood to match that was cut down at a hardware store. You'll have length to spare, but it fits snugly on the width dimension of the mat.
The inner dimensions of the cage (inner beam to inner beam, not counting bolts/nuts extending): 42 3/4 inches wide, about 57 inches deep. The posts are 2 x 2 with 1" holes, so no problem finding accessories if you don't like the j hooks provided (I think they're pretty decent). Another surprise not listed on the product page was the inclusion of a triceps rope, so don't order one of those if you go with this cage -- you already have one. If I had to nitpick, I wish the squat area was a little deeper than 24 inches, but it's enough clearance for me since I do slower, more deliberate movements. It's also a fine compromise given the design of the inner work area gives you a lot of flexibility for placement when using an adjustable bench.
I think this is great value. I had no damaged or missing parts in my shipment, but based on the communication I received from customer service, I have no doubt they would take care of you if you did.
You'll like: options for standard or Olympic sized plates on the pulley carriages, decent included attachments, safely shipped.
You'll compromise, if: you have larger hands, or prefer larger grips on your bar dip/pull up stations.
Sizing Reference: reviewer is a 5'10" male, roughly 190 lbs. Medium sized hands.
Delivery is fast. The rack cames in 3 separate boxes, and everything was included—no missing parts at all. With big equipment like this, that's always my biggest concern, especially when you're halfway through assembly and realize something is missing and have to wait weeks for replacement parts.
I cleaned out my garage and installed it there. Overall, the experience has been pretty solid. The frame tubing feels sturdy and well-made, and the aluminum pulleys are good quaility also. Cable movement is smooth and consistent. It also comes with plenty of attachments, so it pretty much covers everything I need for my daily workouts.
Now that this big piece is in place, I'm planning to add more equipment to build out the gym even further. Looking forward to having everything fully set up before summer hits.
Set this up in my basement gym and honestly pretty impressed. The 6-post design makes a big difference-it feels really solid and doesn't wobble much at all, even during heavier lifts. Exactly what I was looking for in a home gym.
This rack is awesome. Took a while to put together, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The frame is solid, and the pulleys work super smoothly-no sticking, no weird tension, just perfect motion.
I've been able to do a full range of exercises, from bench press to cable flys, and even some creative setups with the attachments. It really makes a difference having a stable, versatile piece of equipment at home. I'm already planning to add more gear around it.
Overall, for anyone looking to seriously upgrade their home gym, this is an amazing choice!
Versatile and solid! Assembly takes some time, after all, it's a big piece of equipment. But once it's together, it's totally worth it.
The aluminum pulley system is super smooth, making shoulder and back exercises a breeze. Comes with a bunch of attachments, including a landmine, foot pedals, and it also has integrated pull-up bars, so you can do pretty much any workout you want at home.
I bought the set with weight bench for home bench pressing. The bench is also well-built and stable. Considering the price, I'd say it is a total bargain!
This is by far the best value power rack I've ever owned! The steel is thick and solid, and once assembled, there's almost no wobble. Squats and bench presses feel completely stable. The aluminum pulleys are super smooth, and the cables pull evenly without any snags. Totally exceeded my expectations! An essential for any home gym!
I finally cleared out my garage and decided to build a home gym. I got this x6 rack and it's fits perfectly. Super sturdy, the pulleys are smooth, and I can do pretty much exercise I want. Right now it's the only piece I have in the garage, but it's enough for my current workouts. I plan to add more equipment over time. Honestly, not having to drive to a gym is amazing!
Great price! I have to say it's more than just a traditional power rack. It's almost like a fly deck. Installation did take a bit of time. There are points where one person needs to hold while the other assembles. Once it's set up, it is solid, with all the versatility you'd expect from a high quality piece of equipment. Highly recommend!!!
Bought this for my home gym and I'm extremely impressed with the final result!
Structure is solid. flies and cables work well. Aluminum pulleys and smooth cable system make it easy to adjust for different exercises.
I purchase bumper plates and the weight bench also. The bumper plates are fantastic - they're solid, durable, and perfect for heavy lifting. The bench seems to only have an incline function and cannot deline. It's a pity.
Overall for the price, the package is worth it. Definitely will recommend this to anyone looking to elevate their home gym experience!
Incredibly versatile and efficient. You can target every area you need without waiting for equipment at the gym. After assembling, it's quite heavy, so make sure to map out your space beforehand. The included mat is also of great quality, providing excellent support and protection for my floor during intense workouts.
The machine arrived in 3 boxes, and the instructions were clear with every part labeled. I would recommend opening everything up to get acclimated with what you have. It'll make the assembly process much easier. The accessories are of good quality, and the aluminum pulleys are smooth.
In terms of size, compared to other Smith machines and functional trainers, this one is pretty compact and doesn't take up too much space at all.
For functionality, it covers most of my daily training needs. If you plan on doing exercises like landmine rows or seated rows, you might have to leave some extra space.
Overall, it's a great piece of equipment definitely worth buying!
When you train at home for a while, you will eventually run into the same problem, your space is filled with all kinds of gear. In the end, I decided to go with an all-in-one power rack so I could save space and keep everything more organized. I looked through a lot of Smith machines and power racks and chose this plate-loaded one instead of a weight stack system.
The rack was pretty steady with no weights on. The cable pulley system is really smooth. I can do squats, bench presses, deadlifts, pull-ups, dips, and more with this. Landline attachment was also CLUTCHH for doing landmine presses and rows! For the money this is a great value for a home gym!
Excellent rack for a small home gym space! I love the versatility, especially all the extra exercises you can do with the pulley system. It also comes with a lot of useful attachments. All you really need is to load up some weight plates. What's more, this company really cares about their customers. There was a small shipping issue, but they responded quickly and got it resolved right away. Highly recommend!
I'm looking for a small cage for my home gym. I'm finally getting annoyed at not being able to get my workouts done because of the busy gym. I chose GXMMAT power rack at the end. It's definitely not as well-known as brands like RitFit or Major Fitness, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something when I wasn't even sure how often I'd use it. After comparing prices, I think this one is actually a pretty solid option for the money.
It comes in 3 boxes and the instructions were easy to follow but if you don't have experience building anything it might take you longer... I cleared out a corner of my garage to set it up. The cage is very sturdy. I can't express enough how deeply I love this thing. I can get almost my entire workout done on this machine with the cable system and the included accessories. My teenage sons love it as well.
I'm really happy with this purchase. I'd definitely recommend this rack.
Not super professional grade equipment, but is good enough for a home gym and is definitely a great value for beginners and intermediate lifters.
Assembly was straightforward and instructions were clear. All the hardware feels solid. It comes with aluminum pulleys. You don't have to buy them separately. For the price, it's definitely a great deal. I tried some cable flys and it felt smooth.
All in all, the quality is solid and the rack is stable once set up. I'll keep using it and update my review if I have anything new to add. For now, I'm giving it 4 stars.
