These are a bit thinner than other collars I've seen, but seem to work OK. I was a bit concerned initially whether they opened enough to easily install and take off a bar, but they worked OK (on a ribbed bar). The lever is easy to open and close with no latch that has to be released.

The slim 1 inch profile is nice because more sleeve space means more plates on the bar, which matters when you are loading heavy with thick bumper plates. For the most part I'm not filling the bar.

These weight clamps are awesome! I have always struggled with the plain silver clamp kind that require you to squeeze them to remove. With sweaty hands and after a hard workout, that kind is so frustrating. These clamps are released with a lever so it's much easier to unhook. I also haven't had any issues with it sliding or getting stuck. They are a bit thinner than some other clamps so if you load the bar up with a lot of plates, this would allow you to put more on the bar. So far these clamps are pretty heavy duty. I'm rough on my equipment and drop the barbell but these aren't showing any signs of wear or tear.
These are working well so far - they slip on easy and don't slip. I can't say whether they will eventually fail but out of the box they are strong and are holding up to normal use in my home gym. If you're someone who struggles with the type of clamps you pinch to put on then these may be a better option. They are definitely easier to get on the bar.
If you're wondering where the magnetic part of these clamps is, it's on the side and will either hold it to your barbell or metal plate. If you have it, or you can stick it to your rig so you can have these clamps in an easy to find spot. The closure itself is just simply plastic and it locks down easily like any other barbell clamp. It is all plastic and I would've preferred some metal pretty decent quality and I think if you don't abuse it it should hold up well. Perfect for a Home gym I don't know how well this would do in a commercial / CrossFit gym or something similar like that. They grabbed on to a variety of my bars without any issue. I do like the mag on the side to hold it to my rig.

I have a thicker, non-magnetic pair from Rogue, but I stopped using them once I got these. Despite the slimmer design, these provide a strong grip and plenty of clamping force while taking up less space.

These clamps work great for replacing the old metal pinch clamps. They are lightweight and cinch down easy keeping the weights from moving. There is still slight movement or spinning of the weights when using the preacher curl bar. But it did significantly cut down on the screeching sound that the metal clamps I used before. I didn't get the magnetic version and found these ones to work just fine. They easily tighten and loosen with the release of the bar. Good price and excellent replacement from my older ones.

Recieved the magnet version and they work well at holding the plates in place. They tighten up extremely well. Maybe too tight. Not sure how long the plastic will take the torque required to close the clamp. There is some very slight crazing that is happening around the clamping hardware. Only time will tell. But so far working great.

Overall, these barbell clamps are a five-star product. They fit very well, and when I engage the lever, the lining grips the bar almost immediately and compresses very tightly as the clamp is secured. I feel confident that the clamps aren't going anywhere; they don't shift, and they don't release on their own.
They're very low profile, so they don't take up as much real estate on the bar as other clamps tend to, maybe about 25-35% the thickness of other clamps. Huge bonus for not limiting the amount of weight that can be loaded on shorter sleeves. About the only thing about these clamps that's not scoring a perfect-ten is the magnets, which are integrated for the ostensible purpose of storing them directly on the rack, instead of having a dedicated storage solution, or playing musical weight horns when loading bars. These magnets are strong enough to hold the clamp against the rack, but they could be a little more secure. They tend to slip on placement if they're not oriented correctly. A stronger magnetic attraction would likely fix that issue. It usually takes me a couple tries to get it placed just right, and I can feel when it is, because the magnets pull a little bit better, and the clamp stays put after placing it.
That being said, these are barbell clamps and they do an amazing job. I can't say whether they work for 1.9" axle bars, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did because of how tightly they grip my 2" sleeves. These are an outstanding value at half the price of other collars, and I can easily recommend them. They're durable, powerful, and very easy to use.
These collars are great. They open and close easily and come on and off the bar pretty good (no clamps are 100% perfect on and off from my experience). These are solid and don't slide/allow the weight to move- you'd think that would be a given, but many clamps I've bought over the years fail on this count). These fit all of my 2" bars perfectly- again, not always the case.
I would definitely recommend paying extra for the magnetic ones. I almost got the regular but decided to get magnetic to see the difference. Frankly, the key benefit of the magnets, to me anyway, is when they are off the bar. Instead of throwing them on the ground or in my bin, I just stick these to my rack. Always know where they are and they're always at the perfect height to grab them- genius idea I didn't appreciate until I got them.
I ordered these clamps to replace the typical, generic spring ones that usually come with a bar. While the older ones would scratch and grind on the bar depending on the pressure, these just slide on and clamp down. They look better and hold the plates better than the older metal ones. This review is for the non-magnetic ones as I'm sure the regular magnetic ones are just as good.
These clamps are great. I have a few major positives and only one negative.
-I love the magnets. Having the ability to lock these onto your rack can not only save space but also make switching weight out extremely convenient. Usually, clamps aren't a huge issue, but it is still a well appreciated quality of life improvement.
-These clamps feel incredibly solid. They slide on fairly smooth and lock tight. Zero budging. I tested them with two plates (90 pounds/~40.8 kg) flipped completely onto the clamps and they held strong. Zero complaints in that department. They are safe to use, which is all you can hope for from a clamp.
-They look good. Some clips don't, but I like these clamps aesthetically.
-They're easy to lock and unlock. They require relatively little force to lock compared to the tightness and security they provide.
-Last positive note, they can be magnetized together which is also extremely convenient for storage.
The ONLY negative is that sliding them on and off is a little rough. They're not as loose as a more traditional clamp, for example. Still, not a bit enough issue to knock off a star. Very satisfied with this product.
