Its perfect for what I use it for it keeps my equipment firm and steady and takes care of my floor. Its a pullup pushup chinup and dip station for calisthenics to keep in shape
The mat was perfect for my application! The free pair of gloves was icing on the cake. I am ordering another pair for myself, since my son claimed the gloves as soon as he tried them.
So we have a membership to a streaming workout service and use this mat to convert part of a media room into a workout area. It's large enough for two adults to do stretches, etc. side by side. Thick enough to be padding by itself and perfect on top of carpet. Not quite as thin as a yoga mat but not super thick either. Comes in nice case with three straps. A bit of outgassing smell and had to use weights to keep the sides from rolling up but that is to be expected. Great for what we need to do, which is stretching and some impact aerobics.
I have two of these. I use one under two Schwinn ic4 bikes and one for anything else. They cover the floor in my gym space. I lift weights, do cardio, do Pilates, stretch, you name it, it withstands it. My cat also uses them to sun herself, and I clean them with a vacuum and cleaning wipe or rag. I have no issues with them, and I use them every day. They strong, durable, and you can have shoes or be barefoot without issues. Also, kitty approved. Cat tax provided.

Excellent quality, delivered and packaged very well. I'm using it to do cardio and is perfect for that. I've been starting some yoga but my old bones find it not cushioned enough. Adding a yoga mat for just the times I do yoga work well. Overall, I am very happy and would recommend this mat. I had a question about how to clean the mat after exercise and customer service was very supportive and responsive right away. I am very happy with my product. I also wanted to mention that the mat came with a free pair of weight lifting gloves that are of excellent quality that my husband really likes!

I'm so happy I got the opportunity to review this product because it is actually helping me to be safe with my routine. I'm easily injured doing any hard impact exercises, esp my knees, ankles, wrists. This has made it so much easier (and safer) to exercise. I can feel a huge difference in my stamina because I'm not hurting my joints or back. I can just focus on my muscles moving. To be able to have such a large surface area to stretch out and do pilates/intervals/whatever is so motivating. I think this would be great for anyone but especially people who suffer from auto-immune related joint pain. Its made a difference in my life
Good mat prob not best for body workouts because moist hands will slip a bit. I have a softer mat for laying down excersizes and such.
This mat was perfect for our home gym. The low profile eliminates risk of rolling an ankle but the mat is perfect for protecting the floor.

Why did it take so long for me to come across this item and whats worse is I took forever contemplating which size to buy for nearly 3 weeks! The mat arrived and 6x6 is the PERFECT SIZE & EXACTLY what I needed with plenty of room for the barbell portion of my workout along with burpees, push-ups, etc. The mat is thick enough so that I can be rough with the bar and not worry about floor damage! Another plus is that I am able to roll it back up to store away everyday. A bit pricier than other brands, but I do not regret this buy (you pay for what you get) and totally recommend GXMMAT!!

I love the size of this mat! It's comfortable enough for floor work. The most important thing for me is that it doesn't slide on our laminate flooring. It's the only one I've found that stays out when doing HIIT workouts. The sides don't lay quite flat but just a tiny bit of lift. Overall, I'm loving this mat!

Great mat. Extremely tough, comes as described with straps for rolling it up (if necessary or to move...). It's thick, "gives" just the right amount, and does not move around on our painted garage floor (epoxy painted). One gripe - the mat (ours are the 6x10' version) is extremely consistent on the 6' width dimension. That is, it appears to be machine cut (or made to 6' wide) as the mat is 100% straight ACROSS the 6' width along the entire mat. On the other hand, the length at 10' appears to be have hand cut. It is not EXACTLY 10' long from edge to edge. The cut across the 6' width is a bit wavy. We have two mats side by side. If the mats were 100% square, one would expect two mats to align along all edges. See the accompanying image. Because the length is not a perfectly straight 90 degree cut, the ends don't match up. We butted our mats along the long edge; the mats form a surface 12' by 10' wide. The butt is perfect as those edges appear to be machine cut. In our case, this worked out great as you can barely see where the mats are butted; the sides are that straight. If you intended to butt two mats together end-to-end to form a 6' x 20' surface, you would definitely see a gap between the two mats. Again, not a huge deal, likely something you would not notice with one mat by itself.
This workout mat is great! We have stained concrete floors that aren't at all forgiving when we try to work out. I got this larger mat, because I feel like the traditional sized ones are too small for me. It comes in a carrying case and has 3 Velcro bands that help keep it rolled up. It is pretty cushiony and is large enough for 2 people to use at the same time... And as you can see in the pics, the cat likes it as well. It also came with some bonus workout gloves that are comfortable.
I was looking for a mat for my home gym, read other reviews and ordered this baby! I have to say that I was really impressed with how it arrived. It arrives fully wrapped with velcro straps that hold the mat closed in its storage bag (I didn't expect a storage bag but it's a great addition to allow for rolling up if you don't want it out all the time!) An extra bonus?? There's a pair of lifting gloves included!! Who includes anything as a bonus anymore?? The mat itself is easy to wipe down, doesn't slip and marks from equipment aren't left after your workouts. It's not thickly padded so if you're looking for something with a the give to protect your knees when jump roping or something like that, you won't quite get that. However, for yoga and pilates, I put my yoga mat on top and it provides a really nice, cushy surface. As far as sizing, it fits my Flybird bench with room to spare. If you're looking for a super large basement mat, this may not be for you but at a measurement of 4' x 6', there's plenty of room to work out and protect your floor. For side to side movements like a squat side shuffle, I move on the diagonal. Overall, 5 stars on this one!
It's a bit pricy, but after a couple of weeks it has really held up and for not being super thick, it still gives a decent cushion. All in all I'm very happy with it and would recommend it if your looking for a good all around gym mat.

The size is perfect for 1 person to exercise. I have been using it every single day for 2 months and still looks great. The only complaint I have is the edges don't lay flat. I put dumbbells on the edge to make it flat, but it ruined the color and left dumbbell marks. Tried to clean it but won't go away.
GET IT - DON'T GET IT? This exercise mat earns a solid 100% GET IT from me. We moved to a new house last August, and there was a "bonus room" where the washer and dryer were that we weren't quite sure what to do with. With everything going on right now with people needing to stay home etc, it became very clear to us that we should turn this into a workout room, and not wanting to workout on the wood floor in that room - this mat is the perfect solution. I got the 10X6' and I can see this thing lasting 20-30 or more years and it will probably outlast most people's capability to work out. I have never owned a product like this before so I have nothing to compare it to but it is super high quality materials and very well made. It comes in a convenient carry bag if you need to store it, and 3 Velcro straps to keep it rolled up in the bag. I have a big TV on a rolling stand, and I roll it right in front of my exercise bike when I am doing my spin class, and then roll it out from in front of the bike for online streaming yoga, or cardio exercise classes. Because it is a good strong material, it is quite heavy, but once it is in place on your floor it won't move no matter how strenuous your workout is. I workout on it for about 3 hours a day, and have done for a while. It is super comfortable as well as durable, and the mat stands up to everything I'm doing no problem. If you leave weights on it, it will leave an indent, but after an hour or so it will return to normal. If you are reading these reviews, then you are probably in the market for something like this, and not the jigsaw mats that you piece together but eventually come apart. The price reflects the quality with this product, and even if it only lasted 5 years (it will last way beyond that) then the cost per day to have an incredible mat to work out on is 16 cents or 8 cents at the 10 year mark. Some people mentioned using weights to keep the mat from rolling up - I did not experience this at all - I unrolled it and it has been sitting perfectly ever since. Getting the pair of gloves with the mat was a real bonus because they are great quality, and not cheap quality. I appreciate them every day I work out. Ordered two mats. One was 8'x 6' and the other was 10'x 6'. They are both nice looking but texturally the mats have different materials. One of them seems to have a more dense foam and the other is like yoga mat material.
Perfect for my cardio and ab workouts. Pretty easy to clean...wish it came in pink lol. Will be ordering another one to put under my pole.

This Mac is amazing. It covers a good portion of my garage floor. It's comfortable. I've worked out on yoga strength training. It holds up well it's easy to clean overall it's a good addition to a home gym or any place. You might need a large mat.

I love this mat! It is the perfect size for floor work (at 5'6" I can lay on it in any direction.) I mostly use it for stretching and core, and am on my knees and back a lot. I wanted it super plush so I added a piece of carpet pad under. It is great!!! Even when doing planks I have experienced no slipping. It really good quality!!!!
I ordered this 6' x 4' mat as I wanted to do cardio and yoga classes at home. I've been using it for a few days and I have found it to be all I was hoping for. I wear tennis shoes for my cardio classes and yoga socks for yoga, although my feet grip well without the socks-it's just my preference. The mat really is top-quality. There are no rough edges. Even the label with the company's name sewn is neatly and perfectly stitched into one corner. It's a nice thick mat and stays in place on my wall-to-wall carpeting without damaging the carpet. It is substantial under my feet, yet light enough for me to roll up and carry out of the room when I am finished using it. It comes in a carry-bag and includes a pair of gloves, although I have not used to gloves yet. I did have an issue, as the first mat I received was damaged in shipping. I contacted the seller immediately and they immediately out a replacement mat. No argument and no hassle. Do I recommend the GXMMAT mat? YES! The mat is superior and so is the Customer Service!
I bought the purple 6x8' mat and it's working great - came nicely packaged with workout gloves. It unrolled easily and with just some weights around it initially to help it relax from being rolled up, its been great to use! I love the purple, there's no smell and the size is perfect!
